Hi, I’m Josh M—small business owner, spreadsheet whisperer, tech wrangler, operations firefighter, and official hat-wearer-in-chief.

I co-own a growing business where I juggle accounting, operations, and technology. That means my day often starts with reconciling financials and ends with fixing the Wi-Fi or figuring out why our cloud storage is screaming. Somewhere in the middle, I’m helping keep the business actually running.

HatStacked was born from that chaos.

What Is This Place?

HatStacked is a blog for small business owners who are doing everything—the marketing, the books, the IT, the hiring, the payroll, the late-night Googling of “how to write an employee handbook that won’t get me sued.”

It’s not just business advice. It’s business advice you’ll actually use—without jargon, without fluff, and definitely without making you feel like you need an MBA or free time (lol).
